Private Cooking Class with Executive Chef

We will learn how to prepare our choice of culinary treats, from Regional Mexican Cuisine to Healthy Fare to Sweet Endings. Under the guidance of the resort’s Executive Chef, our one hour class begins with a tour of the kitchen, in our own chef hats and aprons, and then we will prepare our choice of recipes. We will end the class by enjoying what we created, accompanied by a glass of wine or a cold Mexican beer.

Mayan Serenade Boat Tour

As honeymooners staying at the resort, we will enjoy the “by invitation only” Mayan Serenade. A Mayan guide escorts us from our room to a private boat specially decorated in white, where we will embark on a 30 minute tour through the 16 kilometers of Mayakoba canals. Throughout our tour, our tatich-ha (Mayan water guide) serenades us with the romantic Mayan legend of Princess Nicte-Ha. To “sweeten” our romantic boat tour, we can add a bottle of champagne and delicious chocolate-covered strawberries.
